Atavist Lore is a two-man project based in Ontario and Québec, Canada specialising in dark folk and ambient music distinctly European in inspiration. Using a variety of acoustic instruments and ancient languages, Atavist Lore attempts to transmute the longing that many feel in the age of modernity into something strong, traditional, and folkloric.
